Do my members know it's automated?
Messages come from your community's support chat, written in your voice — you edit every template. Replies land in your inbox like any other DM, so you can take over the conversation at any time.
What if a member pays before the message goes out?
The sequence stops the moment Whop reports the payment; nothing is sent. Every playbook is capped at 3 messages per member with cooldowns, and stops the second the member pays or replies.
What counts as recovered revenue?
A failed payment that gets paid, a scheduled cancellation that gets reverted, or an inactive member who comes back — after a Retainer message. Nothing else is counted; no modelled estimates.
How does Recover billing work?
Recover costs $0/month. Every Monday, Retainer adds up the revenue it recovered for your whop that week (failed payments paid, cancellations reverted — the same numbers as your Recovered page) and invoices 20% of it through a Whop checkout link sent by DM. Under $5, nothing is invoiced and it rolls over to the next week. If Retainer recovers nothing, you pay nothing. Switch to Recover or back to a flat plan anytime from Settings & plan.
Is there a free plan?
Yes: dashboard, risk scores and failed payment recovery (20 DMs a month), no card required. Recover ($0/mo + 20% of recovered revenue) unlocks everything in Pro with no fixed fee. Pro ($49/mo) and Business ($149/mo, 3 whops) are the flat-rate options if you prefer a fixed bill.
