How it starts
Pay, then message us on Whop with your whop link. Within 24 hours on weekdays you get a 6-question form (voice, tone, what you never want said to a member) and a team invite request.
What you approve
Every playbook template before it goes live, in a Whop DM you can edit. Nothing is sent to a member until you have read the three messages of the sequence.
What you get back
The day-14 report: failed payments recovered, cancellations reverted, members reactivated — each with the Whop payment or membership ID, so your accountant can check it.

- Who does the work?
- Lucas, who built Retainer, with the same automation we use on our own whops. No agency hand-off: the person you message is the person doing the setup.
- What access do you need?
- For the setup: a team invite to your whop with read access and the support chat (you can remove it after the day-14 report). For the migration: admin on the new Whop business you create, plus moderator on your Discord or Telegram.
- How do I pay?
- Through Whop checkout, one time, card or crypto. The invoice shows up in your Whop purchases like any other product. No subscription is created by buying a service.
- What if I only want the app?
- Install it yourself — it takes 30 seconds and the Free plan needs no card. The services exist for owners who would rather have the playbooks written and checked by us.
- Do you take a cut of my revenue?
- Only if you choose the Recover plan after the setup: $0/mo and 20% of what Retainer actually recovers, invoiced weekly through Whop. Pro at $49/mo has no revenue share.
